Mikel Lasa (born 9 September 1971) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a left-back. While he began his journey at Real Sociedad and found significant success at Real Madrid, he joined Athletic Bilbao for the 1997–98 season. There, he was an important first-team player as the club achieved a runner-up place in La Liga. Although his time with the Basque neighbours involved playing very little in his final three seasons, his presence contributed to their competitive standing before he retired in 2004.
